The Outer Circle, Agen Allwedd, Llangattock Escarpment

An event packed day out in which Brendan was late due to immobilising his car on a garage forecourt, Keith evacuated the CSS changing rooms by evacuating his ..... (too much information), Jason met his nemesis in Coal Cellar passage and Chris proved too rotund to negotiate a tight rift.  After taking photos, doing more of the cave than was strictly necessary and backtracking we emerged onto the frost covered escarpment after 10 hours underground.  Finally we were too late for a pint and a meal so ended up having an Indian meal in Abergavenny.

Giants Hole, Derbyshire

A trip to Geology Pot and round the Round Trip to show Chris what Derbyshire caving is like (well minus most of the mud). The day started with some reluctance to get started probably due to the freezing temperatures and icy wind. Eventually we'd exhausted the joys of the Woodbine Cafe and 'Hitch and Hike' and had to get changed. A highly entertaining trip. The more senior members of the party took us to some of the more rarely visited sections of the cave. In return they got the opportunity to play with rope and a triaxion getting the more knackered member out, followed by a quick freeze on the surface.

Cwm Dwr, Penwyllt, South Wales

After a day's digging new member Chris still wanted a caving trip so Brendan was pressed into taking him on an evening trip into Cwm Dwr. They were underground for over three and a half hours and covered most of the major routes in the system. Chris still managed another day's digging on the Sunday!
